McIlroy A-25
SOLD: McIlroy Guitar A25 for sale. Guitar purchased from Paramount Guitars in 2013. In excellent condition, no dings, scratches etc. Cedar top, beautiful figured walnut back and sides. Set up for finger style playing by my local luthier. This guitar is good for strumming with a pic as well, but not great for heavy strumming. Its an easy guitar to sing with for sure.
This guitar has been babied (as all my instruments are), and when not played stored in a humidity/temperature controlled room. I've posted the specs from McIlroy below. Although smaller than a large Jumbo its volume sustain and balance is remarkable. This size seems to focus the sound like no other guitar, giving it a clarity that is now legendary. A very comfortable guitar to play and suited to most styles of playing. These are really excellent guitars. I got mine as a partial trade. It wasn't what I was looking for at the time, but I figured I could move it on if I couldn't bond with it. Well, I bonded with it very quickly and couldn't be happier.

Good luck with your sale. I have 2 McIlroys - an A25 similar to this and an A30. Beautiful guitars, and I am really struck by the Cedar / Walnut pairing that works so well on the A25.
