Default NGD Martin X Series

I’ve been searching local sale ads for a cheap beater for camp fires and camping. This Martin DX1AE popped up online. Cheap enough that I thought something was wrong with it. Met up with the seller and it turned out it was in amazing condition also came with a nice hard case. I ordered new strings and bridge pins to replace the brass pins. These X Series guitars sound great for the price.

One of my favorite guitars is my 000X1AE. Enjoy your new guitar! The X series guitars are heck of a value for the money.

I really like Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze on mine. They open up nicely overtime!

I've had a DCX1E long enough to know it's a good guitar. Nobody in your audience will be able to distinguish the sound from a D18 or D28, especially if you put a bone saddle in there. Sounds good amplified, and if it gets knocked over who cares? Just a good workhorse guitar!

Congrats. I have one of these and it sounds better to me than lots of guitars costing twice as much. An excellent choice, IMO.
