Default Neck length??

hey guys! this may be a noobish question...but is there a way to determine neck length (minus headstock) with given numbers such as : scale length and what number fret joins the body? for example: lets say im building a tenor ukulele, scale length is 17.063, and neck joins the body at 14th fret.

Just plug the scale length into the StewMac fret calculator and check the 14th fret position http://www.stewmac.com/FretCalculator

Or you can use 14th fret = scale x 0.55455

Of course 12th fret join is just half the scale length.

And don't forget to add space for the nut!
