People dont realise the complexities of repairs / setups sometimes, some people have different expectations on what is good and what is not.

Those of us that repair and or build for a living do things differently to others.

Here is an example if i may

This was done by a repairer

Steve
Oh, jeez, I could do THAT kind of work myself
So, are you, or do you know someone who would be good to do this work for me ? I've had 2 guitars done with the Buzz Feiten system and that may be an option (I haven't looked into that in years, and nobody local does the work). I know this wouldn't be a $25 setup/tweak.

very cool ! I'm not an "under the hood" person with cars or guitars, but am where it's needed, a whole other area of work . I don't have pics on a hosting site anymore , but here's a Fb link to a pic of the kind of blanking tools I make. I've had to figure out all kinds of tricky things , and am just not inclined, any longer, to try and include guitar work in the mix. (not work on actual guitars, I mean )

Central NM

(Bill Nelson has a cd 'Wah Wah Galaxy' and
my wife and I are custodians of the Chihuahua Overlords, so it makes
sense to me)

So....any takers on a job like Bruce describes in post #56 ?
Offers, quotes, suggestions?... I mean, I want it done, and I'll do it eventually if I have to, but I don't mind paying someone, and DIY is not Plan A .
