Just super Glenn. Great musicianship by you. For myself I am primarily a piano/keyboard player so I was particularly impressed with the organ solo.

Top class production.

I really enjoyed it.

Great work, on a song (and a rock era) that I missed. I appreciate the way you deliver vocals with enough articulation that I can finally understand the lyrics. You're like a geezer translator.

Thanks very much Barry!

My Stratocaster has the standard 3 single coil pickups. You can buy these Strat Pro II guitars with an HSS (humbucker, 2 single coil) arrangement. I have never owned a Strat with a humbucker pickup. I have always liked the sound of single coil pickups on a Strat or a Tele.

Thanks for watching Barry! I very much appreciate your taking time to comment! I hope all is well for you!

Hi Coler,

Thank you very much for watching and for your comments! Much appreciated!

Interesting that you are a keyboard player as well as a guitar player. I'm glad my organ playing didn't look too bad to you. That makes me feel a little better!

Thanks for the kind words Coler! Enjoy your family!

- Glenn

Hi Birdbrain!

A geezer translator!!?? Oh, that's really funny!!! I'm glad that my diction is good enough that you can understand the words. I guess that's the result of growing up in the American midwest and having an accent that is sort of the radio standard of the USA. Thank you for the compliment!

And thanks for the kind words about the performance of the song! It was a fun project; I'm so glad you thought it came out well!

- Glenn

Now that's a very nice production. What everyone said about the guitar/tone, and the vocals all just went together perfectly. This is a most enjoyable tune to listen to.

Glenn,
While not being familiar with the song, I can certainly appreciate the time and effort put into this project. The outcome, as always, is outstanding. That 335 is exquisite.

I hope you have a beautiful Fall in your neck of the woods. Summer sure scooted by quickly, didn’t it.

Roger

How nice of you! Thank you for the compliments and kind words! I'm so glad you felt this cover worked out well.

I hope all is well for you! I imagine it's starting to get colder for you as we move into the autumn. It sure is for me; take care!

Hi Roger,

Thank you for listening and for your kind comments! I'm glad you felt this cover came across well!

Regarding the Gibson ES335, thank you, I feel very lucky to have this guitar after all these years. I had considered selling it at one point and my wife discouraged me. She was right.

For those who don't know the original of this song, here is Crowded House's video of "Don't Dream It's Over."

Regarding autumn coming, yes, summer really did seem to fly by in no time at all. It was 40°F (4.4°C) this morning (Wed, Sept. 21, 2022), so the days for us out in the Northwest are cooling off very quickly now. Because we have so many evergreen trees, the fall is not as spectacular as it is in New England with all those sugar maple trees or even in the USA Midwest with all the deciduous trees, but it's still pretty in a kind of muted way. I hope your fall is pretty, too, Roger!

I hope all is well for you!

- Glenn
