Default Plates, Braces, and a plate...

Any guesses on the bridge plate material?

It looks like Walnut, but I am sure that is incorrect.

That guitar is a masterpiece. The inside is every bit as beautiful as the outside.

That was my first guess too based on color. It's Sapele! I had sapele as a softer wood in my head, but on the Janka hardness scale it's a little harder than maple.

Thank you! I can't get over the color of the EIR set.

Default We have a box!!!

Ben's caption when he sent me these last night:

"Here, much maligned and overlooked Sitka and Indian Rosewood assert their right to be loved and admired. Take that, Adirondack and BRW!"

Ben just amazes with his talents. It's a good thing I did not know of him while I was living in Las Vegas! It wouldn't have been cheap! Bravo Ben!

Congrats on your build...I got to play one of Ben's recently and was blow away by not just the fine details but the tone/headroom. Really powerful and pure sound coming out. Enjoy and look forward to following this!

GHEEZ! Does Ben work 24/7 and not sleep? His builds are lightning fast.

Thanks for the updates....it is fun to follow along.
I cannot wait to see this under finish and to hear/watch Ben's completion video.

Keep the posts coming.
