Default Howto: Intonation on a resonator?

I have a fairly low-end but pretty good for what it is Gold Tone / Beard spider bridge resonator that has the most godawful intonation. I use it for slide of course so it's not a huge problem, the guitar is totally playable in slide but I'd like to get it intonated a bit at least. How would you do that? Any pointers?

Hi. I had the same problem on a Galveston. I made a piece of maple that fit into the saddle slot and extended back about 3/16". Shaped that, and it worked fine. Intonation is good, volume may be a bit less. Good luck.
