Default Slide my Soul Away

Hi everyone.
A few weeks ago I bought the cheapest resonator guitar I could find (money's too tight to mention) in the shape of a Harley Benton costing me a whalloping 300€.
I then recorded a improvised melody over a 3 chords sequence just to see what the instrument would sound like, and added some pads in post-production.
Hope you like it.

Resonator sounds wonderful. And the three chord sequence was very soothing with the melody moving through.

Thank you Mike.
That has been said to me a few times about other pieces I've recorded. In another life I will be a movies score composer.
And thank you for having a listen.

Very cool! Reminded me of something Ry Cooder would do for a film soundtrack.

Thank you Doug.
I think I have most of Cooder's LPs so I read that with a bit of a proud smile on my face.

Thank you Paul.
Yes, these budget reso can do great things, albeit with a little (or alot) eq and compression help.
