I'm really interested to have the opinion of the owners and lucky customers who played and compared the two J.Kostal MD you are refering with brazilian back and sides but with the different spruce tops, italian spruce and the german spruce. Which one will you choose if still for sell?

Well, this story has an epilogue. It all started at Healdsburg two years ago. And, I picked up my Kostal at this year's Healdsburg. So, the love affair truly begins...and it's a lifelong commitment.

Jason at his showcase of such a fine collection of Kostal guitars...

My MD in Jason's showcase...

And, it ends as it began...

I hope you enjoyed reading through my story.

Many thanks to BBWW. It looks as if a second short story may result.

Billy Boy, it was great to see you at the show again. I'm glad you are thrilled with your Kostal, as well you should be. I was thinking Jason should have put a digital counter on his display table that marked his wait list (in months). I think it would have ticked up every 20 minutes or so.

Thank you so much!

Cotten, I remember your picking up your AGF McKnight guitar at the last Healdsburg, and I thought that was such a cool moment.

Juston, It was great seeing you again and listening to you play so many songs. I really enjoyed listening to you play Steve Kinnaird's maple body guitar. And, the brazilian on your Kostal MD is simply outstanding.

Playing my Kostal since I returned from Healdsburg has been a real treat! I love how big a sound I get, and yet the mids and highs are not overshadowed by the big bass at all. Big, bold and beautiful!

Thank you! I can tell you that BellaD4 and I haven't stopped grinnin' since we first picked up our guitars the night before the show and played them in Jason's room. And, as Bella noted, it was cool to listen to what others had to say when they tried them out. I plan to take my MD to a local guitarist gathering this weekend, and I'll report back what kind of comments I receive. And, as others have noted, the guitar is brand spankin' new and has yet to open up! This is gonna be a fantastic ride!
