Here's my rendition of a beautiful song, inspired to learn it from our AGF pal Peter Wright.

Recorded via two Neumann KM184's going straight to a Zoom Q8 video recorder. No post processing of the audio.

Enjoy and any critique is very welcome.

One of my favorite pieces Bob, it sounds very nice.

I may have to try my Alaska Piks again. I like the tone you are getting.

The violin part of the tune is what inspired me to buy a beginner violin. I've managed to tune it and actually get a decent amount of rosin on the bow,

Well interpreted with a beautiful sound. I worked on it some time ago and it is a very beautiful piece.
From what I see you don't have a tab on the index finger and I find that the sound is a little behind compared to the other fingers

Beautiful, Bob!! It's really a special tune and I really admire William Coulter and his music. Also, a really nice representation of the Doerr Trinity!

Thanks Remy and I'm glad you pointed out that my index finger sounds weaker. I thought I was pulling the tone out with it but I will try adding an Alaska Pik to it. Will take some practice.

Thanks Barry, I'm having the same relationship with my mandolin as you are your violin! It's a very gratifying song to play.

Thanks Bob. There’s quite a blues catalog you’ve built on your Soundcloud page. I was checking it out last night.

Cheers,

Bob

Thanks for listening, Bob! I wish I could remember more of the without the tab But I tend to move on too quickly, and only a few stick to my old brain!

Lovely, Bob!

Very nice to see you and hear you play. The sound is very good with those Neumann KM184 mics. And your playing is also very good; nice video work, too!

Excellent work here, Bob!

Good job and nice recording. Some maple guitars seem cold sounding to me but this recording has nice warmth and clarity.

Thanks for taking a listen Glenn and I figured it was time to put a face with the name.

Thanks Derek. I’m so pleased with how good the Trinity sounds. It’s my first experience with a maple B/S guitar and I’m a “believer”.

Thanks Mesa, hope you are staying warm in Sweden. That was a lovely picture you posted of your home town street recently. The colors were spectacular!
