You have to realize that it's a really small guitar. Even the bigger Sheeran is a small guitar. I played the Lowden version of the bigger Sheeran, I think it's the S32. The first time, I thought it was a really cool guitar. I went back a few days later and I couldn't understand what I saw in it.

A lot of people are going to like the Sheean's but they're not going to be for everybody.

So, they’re not shipping this year, right? :-((

Or did anyone bought and got one?

Here are some pictures of Sheeran Guitars and a link to their website. I just heard about them, for the first time, today. Guess I haven't been reading all the AGF threads.

Moloney music in Galway have some, so do TFOA in the Netherlands. Both of these companies have quite good videos on their websites.

I didn't realize Sheeran was spelled with an X.

Information gleened from another guitar forum indicates that the delay is due to QC issues.

I cannot comment on the veracity of this claim.

Certainly more enjoyable to listen to than Tommy Emmanuel - IMHO, YMMV, etc.

I'm going to reserve judgement until I have one in my hands-as we all should

To me, it's a lot like buying a pair of basketball shoes for $500 because it's got a player's signature attached to it, while a similar quality no-name pair would cost about $50. I had to take note that the headstock read "Sheeran" by Lowden. To me that screams that they are emphasizing the Sheeran name more than the Lowden name. To me, Lowden carries far more weight for a guitar brand than "Sheeran". But again, there are folks who will fork over $500 for gym shoes.
