Exactly:::: go back and forth between 800 and 830 for about 30 minutes and you will see and feel it.

Thanks for the info! Just picked one up and I'm impressed!
The new nut/saddle/strings/pins make a huge difference!

I love my FG830. I did have a local luthier lower the action and while he was at it install a bone saddle. It looks and sounds amazing. My brother-in-law is a long-time acoustic player and when he visits he hands me his Martin D-35 and grabs my Yamaha. That's how much he likes it.
