Saw the Indigo Girls tonight for the first time
They played the Walker Theatre in Chattanooga, Tn. There was an opening band, but when it came to the Girls, it was just Amy, Emily, and a selection of stringed instruments. It was an excellent show, by turns heartwarming and bittersweet.

Very nice! They are on my bucket list. I'll be back in Austin (or that general vicinity) in 2020. I am going to try to catch them.

It is great when it is just the two of them. Great harmonies and they are both such fine musicians. I have seen them perform live a half a dozen or so over the years and they never disappoint. Glad that you finally got to hear them in person.

Saw them a few weeks after the first record came out - they were quite dynamic back then. I still play Closer to fine all the time.

Saw them a few times throughout the 90s (after each of their first 3-4 albums). Always gave a great show!
