Default NGD: Martin D35, 50th anniversary custom

Yesterday i was at Diamond guitars in Amsterdam to show my Brook Tamar custom and was planning to buy a second Lowden. Almost closed the deal and i noticed this custom Guatamalan back and sides D35 from the anniversary series. Never seen or played one but it blew me away. Apperantly only a few made from this tonewood and curious how many are made. So i want to share another great buy today next to my Brook Tamar

I recently had a chance to play a few pre-reimagined D-35s. They were consistently fantastic in both playability and sound. The Guatemalan back looks fantastic. Congratulations.

Fantastic! Congrats on the D35. I'm not familiar with Guatemalan Rosewood (just spent time googling it) but I'm sure your D35 sounds suburb. Enjoy!

A friend had a 50th ann. D-28 that was outstanding.

Great case too!

First fell in love with my D35S in 1972, still play her almost everyday. Over the years I've had one neck re-set and one bridge replacement under factory warranty. She plays sweeter than ever, and I play her every chance I get.

Yours is beautiful. Hope your "love affair" last as long as mine has...

Beautiful guitar.
You will love it.
Got mine new in 1981.
Still the best guitar that I have ever owned.

I read that Guatemalan is similar to Cocobolo. Sounds like you have a wonderful D35! And McIlroy too. I'm a big fan of the D-35 and the HD-35 for that deep tone.

Very beautiful new Martin D-35! Congratulations! I would love to have a chance to play this D-35 with Guatamalan rosewood back and side. It looks gorgeous!

I have a D-35 from 1967 (purchased in 1969, new). It's probably the one guitar I will never sell.

I Love It! A Martin D-35 is in a tonal class of its own, and in a good way. Enjoy!
