Default Those Who Wait (Tommy Emmanuel)

Learned this song years ago & forgot how much I liked it! A bit rusty (as you can probably tell) but was keen to hear how it sounds on the Greenfield.

Hi Joel,

Well, in spite of a little rust, you sound great! And what a wonderful sounding, gorgeous guitar with you playing it! Having worked on this song in the past, I know well what a tough song this is. You have a great musicality about your playing!

Well done! Very enjoyable! I hope you will post more here!

- Glenn

Thanks all. I was used to playing it on a smaller body guitar, so a dreadnaught sized behemoth with fan frets gave my left hand a bit of a shock!

Great job, I really enjoyed that. You've inspired me to dig out my Only notation book this weekend.

Lovely - I always struggled with the stretch in that intro but lovely playing, and of course fantastic sounding Greenfield..

Joel, the rust is minimal as far as i can see and as always your playing is at the kind of quality that most guitarists would love to attain! On top of that Those Who Wait is perhaps my favourite fingerstyle song of all time so I am going to play your clip over and over again!

Ya Joel, sorry I didn’t post a response earlier. I was speechless, or postless after I heard this. Excellent job playing this! I wish I had those fingers. The intro was a challenge to stretch, so I opted not to try wrap my thumb. Anyway, You inspired me to learn this song, so I did!

Thank-you!

Putting the wonderful playing aside for a moment, my guitars don’t sound like that😢. Wow, that’s a beautiful sound.
