I’m not a fan of his symphonies but I think it’s the most accessible for the beginner (not meant as a put down). Mozart died young and many of his works are marked by the cheekiness of youth. Where Beethoven excels is in his mature works composed later in life but even his early quartets are extremely fresh and a good representation of some of the best of the Viennese school of the latter half of the eighteenth century. Hi
I got Mark Knopfler's new cd Down The Road Wherever for Xmas - really enjoying listening to it. When i hear him play it makes me both want to pick up a guitar and, pack in trying to play! In Dec Guitarist mag (UK) there is a long interview with him, where he states that he wants to have some guitar lessons! Rich |

Right now I’m listening to my wife complaining to me about spending too much time with my nose in my iPad. 😂

You know she’s hooked on that stupid show now Haas, and I have to sit there in my chair reading or doing something on my iPad with that irksome show on in the background. Think I’ll try to get her interested in a Breaking Bad. Yeah, THAT’S the ticket! 😂

I'd like to try that with his piano Sonatas, but I'd have to pull a 12-er! |

I guess there are worse songs to have stuck in your head?! I am actually learning Sultans - it sounds quite nice on an acoustic (how it was originally written), as well as the electric. Cheers Rich |

Spotify Daily Mix #3 (they curate personalized playlists, based on your listening habits). This one's mostly punk, which is great for cranking up and tuning out at work.
Rancid Bad Religion Descendents Agnostic Front Social Distortion The Dead Milkmen etc. I'll likely switch things up later and listen to the new Deerhunter album.
