W&S is produced to provide Taylor guitar information and to sell their guitars - DUH !!! Anyone reading it should know that before opening the cover.

Yes, W&S is full of excessive self praise and way too many accolades for Andy Powers. I'll bet it's torture for all the "regular" Taylor employees to witness on a daily basis.

I have a lot of respect for Bob (even bought the book) and Kurt but I won't be buying any more Taylors since they brought in the wunderkin.

It's a typical house organ. Great photos; banal writing.

I agree with the excessive self praise.

Being a Martin owner I find most of the magazine uninteresting because, of the self praise. However, I read the "Ask Bob" section and I have learned a lot.

I love getting my "Wood and Steel" magazine every 3 months. It's a well produced publication. Viewing guitars online is great but there is something about having a magazine with great pictures of guitars in it in my hands.
