Default Tonedexter through a magnetic sound whole pick up?

Any opinions .

I was given a lace California magnetic pick up and not really a fan of mags. However I was asked to do some electrified gigs. I have k&k pick ups in my guitars for solo gigs and it sounds great, but this gig is balls to the wall acoustic rock.

FYI: I do have some decent mics/pre to create the wave map

If I remember correctly magnetic sound hole pickups are not recommended for the Tonedexter.

The member BluesKing777 has had some success *driving* the ToneDexter with a magnetic sound-hole pickup, using a Wavemap created on another guitar. His impression was that it was cool, but not good enough to play live.

If you are trying to avoid feedback, there is a thread on playing live with ToneDexter in this subforum where people post their experiences and recommendations for dealing with resonance and reflected sound.

I have made the wavemaps using a kk pickup
then played live with the td using a sunrise mag
pup with good success. I think james was talking about
creating the wave maps with a mag pup.
