Default 1972 Yamaha FG-75

Not quite new guitar day, but (kinda) close as I purchased it only weeks ago. Produces a nice rich woody tone when strummed. Action medium-high, so you can really lay into it and not only is there no buzzing, but the sound remains clear and defined. Very fun guitar!

I had one, shortly before 1972.
It was my first good guitar.
We were poor so to buy it I mowed neighbors' lawns for IIRC 75 cents and saved up all summer.
I put it on layaway and went in once a week to make tiny payments.

I wish I still had that guitar.

I traded up to a red label FG 140 a few years later.
Wish I still had that one too.

It's easy to get sentimental about guitars we had half a century ago.
