As mentioned in another thread, we have some smaller music accessories to place under the tree and in the stockings, but no big ticket musical items.

My wife's Jeep needs tires.
I wonder if that would count? Have you priced tires lately...……... |

My 80+y.o. parents and inlaws still love buying gifts. I've never been into it and would strongly prefer to just spend time with the people I love in a deliberate way. But since they will either buy me stuff I really don't want or stuff that I want, I have started keeping a wish list on Amazon and given them access to it over the years. It's full of things I would like to have but am not desperate to get-- some books of poetry I'd like to read, a t-shirt, a guitar strap I like, some drum accessories. That sort of thing. During the course of the year if I read a book review and think, "I'd like to read that some day but can't right now," I put it on the list.

All the family here. Good food to eat. Fire in the fireplace. Decorations all over the living room.
Either late this month or early in the new year my wife will have minimally invasive back surgery to try and treat severe arthritis. I would ask for that to go well.

I ask for nothing for I have been given the greatest gift one could ever receive...time...something we take for granted and has been denied to so many.
