Default Sir Paul

He was having dinner at a place in Jersey City, Hudson House, and got up and sang "I saw Her Standing There" with the house band a few days ago.

We live 20 miles away. Closest I'll ever get to him,

I've seen him twice this decade. He puts on a great show. He must love what he does because he keeps doing it. The first time I saw him, the band came out for the encore and when the piano notes of "Golden Slumbers" started, I got goose bumps. Got goosebumps just now thinking about it.

I used to be in a group with Brian Ray, who now plays with Paul. That's the closest I'll ever get to him.

I would have pulled out my phone...to answer it. ISHST is the ring tone for my wife's calls.

Paul usually plays 3+ hour shows. He gives the band a break after mid-way but he usually never leaves the stage. He keeps playing solo until the band comes back out. Of course, he's the oldest, by far, on the stage.

I got to see Sir Paul perform once... in 2009. It was the 11th anniversary of Linda's death, and he was a little emotional early on. But he completely rocked it out during the second half of the show. Would love to see him again.

Quite simply the best pop composer of the 20th century.
And from what I've heard, a really nice guy as well.
Genius. Brilliant. So musical. So many of his songs make me smile and laugh and occasionally tear up And I love to play some of them.
