Yes. Roy Clark passed away one year ago today--November 15, 2018.

From the New York Times obituary:

"By Bill Friskics-Warren
"Nov. 15, 2018

"Roy Clark, the country singer and multi-instrumentalist best known as a longtime host of “Hee Haw,” the television variety show that brought country music to millions of households each week, died on Thursday at his home in Tulsa, Okla. He was 85."

An excellent tribute thread to Roy Clark was initiated by Bob Womack here at AGF on 11/15/2018. See Roy Clark has passed away.

Here is an insightful interview with the aging virtuoso from 2017. This was about a year and a half before his death. Its about 30 minutes long but if you are inclined to watch when you have time I think its worth it.

Same here.

Roy was an amazing player and seemed like a great guy to want to be around.

My apologies to anyone who may have been dazed and/or confused by my OP.

It was meant in the spirit of "Happy Birthday" posts, which usually commemorate the anniversary of a person's birth rather than announcing its actual occurrence.
