Default Need help with identifying please

Can someone identify this guitar?

I really would appreciate it. My boyfriend wants one like it for Christmas. I've looked at every classical guitar makers' website I could think of and had no luck. Maybe custom made?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Alissa,

It would help if we knew a bit more about what your boy friend wants and what you are willing to buy him. For example, if he is a beginner and says "I want a guitar like that", he could mean a beginners classical guitar that looks like that. But, if he is advanced, and says the same words, he may be saying he wants that exact guitar. The difference between them could be thousands of dollars. The biggest question is how much are you looking/willing to spend? You would get a much better response if we knew how to advise you.

John

Who is that? It looks like Jemaine from "Flight of the Conchords", though, I thought he only played bass...

Default more details...

Good points, John!

He describes himself as "intermediate." Definitely not a beginner. Been playing for almost 5 years.

He definitely wants this exact guitar. He is a Flight of the Conchords FANATIC and has the other two classical guitars Jemaine Clement plays (La Patrie Motif and Takamine EC-132C.)

Thanks!
Alissa

Default Jemaine

Hi Ferg. Yes, it's Jemaine. He played bass on the show but plays mostly classical guitars live.

Do you know what show that's from? That might help.

If the guy shown with the guitar is a professional, I bet he has a website and a way to be contacted by fans. Send him an email and ask!

Good idea Tommy, but I've tried that already. Haven't heard back and Christmas is drawing near so I thought maybe someone here might recognize it.
