John Varley’s “Gaia” novels.

All of Fritz Lieber’s “Fafherd and Gray Mouser” works

Julian May’s Saga of the Pleistocene Exile

Greg Bear’s Forge/Anvil duology.

Jack Vance... The Demon Princes novels, the “Tchai” novels.

Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” trilogy.

Frank Herbert’s “Dune” novels.

Likely more that I’ve forgotten....

Coincidentally, I just finished playing Iron Maiden's "To Tame A Land" song on electric guitar. I play the main riff nearly every day. It's based on Dune. I've never read the book.

Most recently, The Songs of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones) series. Wondering if we'll ever see the final book.

In the past
Harry Potter
Hunger Games
Lord of the Rings (actually have read every JRRT Tolkien book, including the extensive 'History of Middle Earth' series)
Piers Anthony - all of his series, with the except of the Xanth books, gave up on those about 10 years ago.
Varley's Gaia series
Zelazny's World of Tiers
Farmer's Riverworld series
Asimov's Foundation series (re-read that last year, no wonder I barely slogged through it the first time)

I highly recommend Cixin Liu's "Three Body Problem" trilogy.

If you've seen the movie based on his "The Wandering Earth" don't be misled (it was horrible!). The Three Body Problem is excellent.

A huge book of Sherlock Holmes stories on my Nook.
Years ago Larry Niven's "Known Space" books and stories and tons of stuff by Isaac Asimov.

For anyone that's a gearhead or motorhead, or just generally likes motorsports, I highly recommend Smokey Yunick's "Smokey's Best **** Garage in Town", which is a trilogy.

It's been a while but the Redwall series was a great deal of fun. If you didn't have any little one's, or haven't read it, try the first book - Redwall. You'll either not like it a lot or get sucked right in.

The Hardy Boys ... yes, I had many of those blue, hard covered books when I was a kid. Great stories.
