"Martian Landed" original lyrics

Hello,
I'm a singer/guitarist who performs at Strawberry Fields, Central Park, New York (John Lennon territory) and I've had some interesting experiences recently that inspired me to write these lyrics to a future song. I'd love any feedback. Thank you!

Martian landed
From outer space
Hat pulled down
Can’t see my face
Strange to see me in this place
Am I part of the human race?

Greyish gills
Webbed hands and feet
Can I still strum
And move to a beat?

What is that?
Who is she?
Is she a Yoko wannabe?
Can’t make sense
Of this mystery
Never seen a China girl
Speak English before
Or sing a song?
World’s gone wrong!

Who am I
An anomaly?
Hardly, I mean really!

Born in Cali, near the sea
I have grown
To be wild and free
Simple as the fruited trees
Flannel patches
On my knees

Martian landed
Full of light
Fallen from distant star
In the night
Can she belt a tune
And stand a fight?
As the people come and go
Heart shoots out
Streams of gold
A story to be told
Call it “forever bold”
Living dreams of old
