In my mind it's these little choices and decisions that end up with a beautifully integrated "whole".

My daughter in law makes cakes - really good cakes (here's a picture of one recently!). But the (no, I won't use "icing on the cake" metaphor!!) best part is that they taste as good as they look. I feel the same about the guitars. They could look beautiful, and that might be enough for some people, but I enjoy the look on the faces when you start to play and everyone realizes that the most enjoyment comes when you shut your eyes...

Best,

Phil

Hey Phil,
The EVO gold would have been a little better match for the color theme as it turned out, but I was thinking more along the lines of the Stainless lasting for a very long time and not needing to be replaced for many years. I wasn't anticipating the 59 Sitka being as gold as it turned out and I must say that I love it and definitely not complaining AT ALL. The frets being silver doesn't stick out to me like the tuners which led me to request a change. The Cosmo Black tuners will work great and not take away from the artistry that Mary put together in the headstock. It is truly a stunning guitar from a looks standpoint and I'm sure it will sound as good as it looks.

Blessings,
Kendall

PS... LOVE the cake. Makes me hungry.

Absolutely - the Cosmo black are great looking (and performing!) tuners, and will look fabulous...

Default Getting ready for the pickup - Lyric

Tim and I discussed the pickup and we decided this guitar would be best fitted with the Lyric instead of the K&K PWM. Tim said he really liked the way it sounded in this guitar.

OK--those black cosmos tuners are just too cool--great selection in swapping them out. Really stunning and beautiful guitar--congrats!

Fabulous! And seeing the black tuners set against the predominant black on the headstock surface--wow! And shipping Monday. I think you'll have a restless weekend, my friend.

What a prized possession you will have. Congratulations, Kendall.
