Time... glad to be back and to further admire and appreciate your work and attention to detail. That build you just finished... incredible. Nice to make a living at something, but you seem to get the most excitement out of the intricate details of your work. Nice job!

This continues to remain one of my favorite threads to revisit. Olson's are amazing instruments plain and simple and at the end of the day, in my opinion, are a solid investment.

I hear those mass produced Olsons don't sound as good as the earlier ones. Do you have any sound samples?

CPA has a 1990/1 Olson on ebay at the moment, wouldn't it be awesome to hear that with the 3 newer ones playing the same piece of music.......

I have never seen a luthier-made guitar in person until tonight when I saw Phil Keaggy play with is Olson SJ. I was about 10 feet away from it, and its craftsmanship and sound were just clearly superior to anything else I've ever heard in person. I hope that my Baranik Meridian that I am having built for myself it at least as good as this SJ.

Lets be real... Jim makes great guitars, but Phil could make just about anything sound amazing.

I've zero doubt your Baranik will be every bit the Olsons equal.

Phil is the main reason I am the proud owner of an Olson SJ. Just nails it.

I hear those who have never owned or played an Olson guitar say all kinds of irrelevant things on guitar forums.

You could substitute a bunch of words for Olson in your comment and be accurate (Tonerite, Dumble, Klon, Somogyi, [any relatively high priced gear])

My 6 year old said to me last night "Daddy when you're grown up, you can do whatever you want, right"? Not quite, but on the internet you can type anything you want.
