Ok, Ebony buttons now up 4 to 2 over chrome. I'm going to try finishing the guitar today, so a couple more hours of this final vote.

Default Make mine ebony!

Make mine ebony! Here's a guy who hasn't played this build at all, swooping in at the end! But who can resist ebony buttons?!

I imagine you've already made those ebony buttons by now, but it's not too late for my vote: black tuners. They would make the headstock inlay stand out more. I'm sure somebody makes such a thing.

Thanks everyone for tuning in and voting. This one is 99% done. A couple last things just to satisfy our quality control, but it's done and singing. Deep thumpy bass and strong trebles that have some room to really dig in. We did some A/B tests with a deep body OM, and it was clearly more comfy with the wedge, yet, it was unnoticeable visually unless told.

Anyway, we're going to take it to the GAL convention next week. If you're in the Tacoma area, come by and play it.

Here's a couple pics. Sorry still an amateur on the photography side.

Thanks so much for following!

Thanks Tom! It didn't sound quite as good as yours out the gate, but I'm not disappointed. I think the AGF did a decent job building this one.

Default While the boss is away #2.1...(your votes needed)

Thanks f1 and Nemo palindromified. The fun part is definitely the build process where everyone chimes in with their thoughts, and we work to some committee solution. However, holding this boomer in my hands now is not too bad either.

Got strung up today and tomorrow gets shipped to Seattle. Oh well, I guess I'll have to play it in in the hotel room up there.

And one for memory lane...are you there?

Who says something designed by committee can't work out? It's a beautiful guitar - I particularly like the rosette and the binding: perfect compliments to that gorgeous eucalyptus. Can you make us a sound clip before it's shipped off?
