Default Solid (woods) body Guitars

Of the "A step Down" guitars, like Fender, Epiphone, Yamaha, etc. what are the models where they used solid body wood all the way around?

I think the OP is asking, apart from the well known more expensive makers, who else produces acoustic guitars with all solid wood bodies?

The new solid wood Fenders are the Paramount Series.

I have played a few. They sound really good for an acoustic with "Fender" on the headstock.

Funny, to my mind, a solid body guitar is a Telecaster or a Les Paul.

If that's what you think of the brands you mentioned..."a step down"...maybe you should just save some more money and buy whatever it is you think is "a step up" guitar.

The Yamaha LL/LS16 series and the A3/A5 series are all solid and far from "a step down" guitar.

I don’t believe the OP is dissing “a step down” guitars as a negative, assuming he means a step down in pricing but still with all solid wood construction. Yes, could have been worded better to not sound negative. Go from here friends.

Check out the Simon and Patrick guitars. Many (all) have solid woods on the back and sides.

You have a lot of choices in lower priced all solid wood guitars.
Most will be import guitars but very good quality.
Some to look at are,

Yamaha
Washburn
Alvarez
Blueridge
Recording King
Eastman
Epiphone

These makers also produce lower priced guitars that have laminated sides and backs.
The price break for all solid wood starts at about $600.00 and goes up from there, depending on the maker and sale prices.

There are also several other makers that offer all solid wood guitars but the ones that I mentioned are guitars that I have played and liked.

So sorry I didn't get on this earlier. Just too busy with work and Christmas lights. What I meant was something like this: what are the model numbers of brands where the entire guitar is solid wood, as in the top, back and sides.

For example: Yes, the Fender paramount series, the Yamaha L series, the Epiphone Masterbilt etc

I've seen many threads outing the "fake" solid body guitars. But what brands, where the price tag is $1200 and lower, are the back, sides and top all solid guitars. I've got my Martin six string now, so I'm looking for a 12 string. Too many of the laminated models are too tinny. I'm also thinking of getting a used one for a greatly reduced price. I don't think the Fender Paramount or the Epiphone Masterbilt, made a 12 string so that's out. And, I don't know if any of the vintage models of Yamaha, Fender or whatever were ever made without laminate wood. There's a nice warm Gakki 12 string youtube video, but it's tough to know if the another guitar you buy online is going to sound just as nice. Thanks for the tip about the Simon & Patrick: nice 12 strings laminate or no.

Here you go Duh! Three solid wood 12 strings for a great price and within your budget.

If I were to pick from these particular models I would go with the Guild
