Default taylor 214ce battery

Hi, I have a taylor 214ce guitar, I don't have a AMP, so I play the guitar unplugged, should I take the battery out of the guitar?

Yes.. if left in for a long time, the batteries will eventually corrode and be extremely difficult to remove.

+3 ... take it out ASAP. Leaking and corroded batteries are not only hard to get out but very bad for your guitar. When my guitar will not be used (plugged in) for more than a couple of weeks i take my battery out.

If you think you might need to play plugged in then keep the battery in the guitar case compartment.
