Wav file editing - Zoom to PC
After recording with a zoom then transferring the wav file to a PC, does the wav file get recompressed or otherwise have the original quality effected by PC software used to trim the file?

Barry, I don't think so. When I do this into Audacity from my Zoom, it shows as a Wav and then I can move it to MP3 from there by exiting Audacity and specifying Mp3. You can check this by uploading a track to Soundcloud. Wav uncompressed files take a LONG time compared to Mp3 and that's one way you'll know for sure. (minutes versus seconds)
