Here's another ukulele orchestra.
... and I'm not planning to get one soon either.

Not an orchestra, just some guy playing solo:

I've already got one.

Wouldn't mind one of those resos, though.

We saw the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain a few years ago. They put on a fabulous show. Took my uke for the play-along tune. Fun!

I think I'll pretend that my basses are ukes; all I have to do is some minor EQing, right?

I got ukes.....a bunch of them and I enjoy playing them and the sound high quality ukes produce. Cheap ones sound like crap. I prefer tenors in low G linear tuning, sopranos for strumming/singing and baritones are tuned DGBE. The D and G strings are wound so it sounds like a mini 4 string classical guitar.

Ok I am done defending the ukulele.......back to playing my guitars

There are several uke orchestras/groups around this area. http://www.ukestra.org/

I opened (with my Beatles tribute band for Greg Hawkes (keyboard player for the Cars) when he performed with a uke band (4 piece) soon after he released his album of Beatles songs done on ukes.
