It’s been awhile since I’ve looked at classical guitars. My friend has an Esteve that is pretty decent, plays well and sounds great for a budget guitar. At the time of purchase it was under $800. But it’s been a few years. Solid cedar and rosewood, traditional Spanish heel, etc.

Well, my week off work starts now.
Guess what I'm going to do? Like I mentioned before...I'm in no hurry to buy, but now I'll have some time to try. |

Nothing rocks my world so far, but I came across a Rodriguez FF flamenco that I really like. Any comments on this guitar? I know it's a little different from a classical, but...I like it.

Weird how things work out like that. I guess I'll be perusing and posting questions on the forum about strings and such very soon. |

I have a G 5 Takamine Spruce top that I like pretty good.

A cheap option is the Cordoba c-5. Cost around $300 new and cheaper used. I bought a Cordoba c-10 cedar and am completely happy with it. The Cordoba's give a lot of bang for the buck.

I would put in another suggestion of Córdoba. They have a wide range of nylon string guitars. I have a C5 Limited and a Master Series Esteso. I really like them both. The C5 is surprisingly good. The Esteso is a fantastic guitar
