Worldclass or not? A Fingerstyle Genius from Europe
Hi friends!
I want to introduce a friend from germany (University of Freiburg). For my own taste he is on the way to the "worldclass". Here is a very nice arrangement of "All Right" (Christopher Cross): agustin-performs-all-right What do you think about his style? Greetz & all the best from germany, Jimmy Quango |

Agustin posts on the AGF and I have had the chance to appreciate his work and have told him directly.
I'm not going to get into a debate here as to whether he's good, great, a genius or worldclass. Not delicate, not pertinent. Personally, I'm a lot more interested in threads where you post videos of yourself. Continuously posting videos of others with a one line comment is getting quite redundant. You're a fine player, Jimmy. Share YOUR music with us. |

Play us some of your music if you feel comfortable... but continue to point us to players you like too... I have watched a bunch of your links and I appreciate what you do... keep'em coming..

Agustin posts on the AGF and has for a while...I believe he used to coax some wonderful sounds from a Goodall and now seems to be getting an even better sound from his most recent guitar. I have appreciated his music very much.
To me, world class gets into a stratospheric level that very few steel string players reach, as in best on the planet; but it could just as well mean a class different and better enough to be lauded all over the world. We are all fortunate to live in a world full of talented guitarists. |
