A 16" Gibson L5 shape is my absolute favorite aesthetically.

A 12 fret 00 is also absolutely perfect.

Jean Larrivees L body is my template for perfection. The biggest step forward in body shape in the last 50 years.

Visually balanced and ergonomic.

Hard for me to pick one... I'm not too fussy. I love em all.

Jumbos, Grand Symphony shapes Grand Auditorium and Grand Concert sizes are my favs. Dreadnaughts are probably last on my favorite list, But I have one I wont sell.

The GA size tends to fit my stature perfectly. (not a big dude)

I have one example of all of the above except the more diminutive Grand Concert.

Some day, I shall embark on a quest to find a 12 fret'r in that body size..

I have two favorites as can been seen in this photograph.
Kathy Wingert's model E (far right) is a grand concert size The body length is the same as a dreadnought, but with a smaller 15-inch lower bout. The waist is long and lean which allows the player’s arm to go over a narrower part of the body. Extremely graceful lines and very well balanced shape to play.
The guitar in the center, made by Sparky Kramer, has the traditional slope shoulder shape which is another one of my favorites.
Aesthetics-wise, I have never cared for the boxy, squared dreadnaught shape but you can't argue with the tone.

Best,
Jayne

For me it's the Gibson J-185 or small jumbo shape. Didn't see that as an option. I guess the SJ option is close but I took "other".

Of the choices presented the L-00 body shape is the most beautiful, though I seem to be in a minority. Considering "other" there are just too many choices, but I'd put Ben Wilborn's Comma series right up there.

To me, I liken the classic Martin OM shape (for me, no cutaway) to like a Strat. Sure, in recent decades, other builders have “enhanced” the shape for aesthetics, playability, uniqueness, etc, but the reason it’s so popular is because it’s practical, timeless and it works

Taylor's Grand Concert would be my choice generally.

And I'd vote GA but apparently choices are limited to Gibson and Martin only.

Nay, "OTHER" was listed in the pool.

GA is my #1 too.
