But perhaps it’s a belated Christmas present John? Great looking guitar guys!

You will have to arm wrestle the intended recipient, brother.
But maybe next Christmas?

Wahoo! We had Christmas in February here. At least, that’s what it feels like when we get a box back from Tony:

Ok, I shouldn’t tease like that. We did open the box, and found this:

Pardon the distracting reflections. A dark, shiny object is terribly difficult to capture successfully. Better pics coming. Along with a neck, a bridge, strings…..

That is a mighty fine box to open, but the present was ever better. Lucky new owner coming soon!

Thanks guys! Indeed, the last steps are the best.
And then the test drive—always a special moment!

Thank you Paul! Though I am a week late responding, your Saturday greeting is right on time.

I know we have a lot of AGF threads going right now, but I wanted to wrap up this thread with some final pics. I'll post the video of Steve playing it tomorrow. Thanks for following along!

Thanks!

Very nice looking and it would appear you built it for Steve's brother? None-the-less it is beautiful.

Really pretty! I love the dark binding and light purfling combo. It looks rich. Dave
