Aye you get a nice view across to Edinburgh from the South Fife Coast... and just wait for the islands and highlands... But weather can be unkind!

The box was closed today...and the cleanliness of Rory and Zach's work is just astounding. Wow. My excitement is now bordering on madness.

‘Have to admit, that view from the sound port is really something.

Very exciting times. I love the shape of the upper bout on that model. Think this will be a stunner

Yes, I wanted to throw my Sony A7riii at the wall when Rory said he took these photos with his iPhone 11.

I do too, being an OM's height and a shortscale I am very much looking forward to sitting with this guitar for lengthy periods of time.

Top shelf, as anticipated.

Dustin, I just found your Youtube Video of your performance of "Evergreen", and was completely swept away by the poetry of this song, and your playing and singing. Absolutely brilliant! I have it playing again in the background as I write this.
I would love to hear you play and sing Evergreen on your Tirga Beag guitar, when you finally have it in your hands. Something tells me that this would take it to a whole new level. WOW, such a beautiful song!

It's funny you mention this, I always play Evergreen on a guitar I may potentially buy and if it doesn't speak to me I most likely won't maintain an interest in the guitar. It's in DADGAD but written in the key of G, so kind of a sweet spot to me and the way I compose. The plan is for this guitar to be a good fit for singer songwriter material as well as instrumental tunes. I can't wait to hear how it sounds on Evergreen.

Purflings, truss rod and carbon rods are installed. Fingerboard and neck-shaping soon then possibly we will be ready for finish...Rory and Zach said they were very happy with the figured sycamore as a purfling choice. I must say I am as well, and look forward to seeing the first coats further increase the dimension these lines are orchestrating. It's a joy getting these photos in, the workmanship is so clean and satisfying to behold.

That's looking fantastic. Hoping to visit Taran guitars shortly so might see if Rory will give me a sneak peak at it. Photos never capture the subtle details.

So excited for you, the details are so clean on this build. Can’t wait to hear your first posted performance with it.
