Default Honey Picks

Have any of you tried these? They started out just making acrylics, which depending upon the guitar, may not be the best for acoustic. But they’re now making casein and starting on tagua. The design and tone are stellar. I don’t work for them. I just have been impressed. And the owners are great. Just passing it along. They have a new site going up soon. For now, check them out on Etsy.

It occured to me that no one posted a photo of this beautiful pick. Bravo to Honey Picks!

Folks, here's a direct link to this beautiful pick, followed by a gorgeous photo.

Their picks are great. They were inspired by gravity. I think they have taken it to another level.

Well, the casein is above EVERYTHING, Kevin, so I think you're right. That alone raises them above most companies.

Looks like casein picks gone. I didn’t see one on the site, only acrylics

I have gotten a lot of their picks. Recently got several casein, and they are fabulous. I’ve started to get larger ones, along the lines of the Bluechip Thile model.

They’ll have more. You can message them, and they’ll make you some.

Yeah, but can they run a Beatles trivia contest??

At that price, I jumped on a caesin. And an acrylic to help justify shipping.

Are casein picks typically thicker than other types of picks? I've never used casein, and this post piqued my curiosity. I noticed a couple days ago while looking at Honey Picks that their thinnest was 3.0mm, followed by 4.1mm; I don't think I've even ever held a pick thicker than 2.0mm. I was hoping to find something around the 1.0-1.5mm range.

I'm sure there are other places somewhere, but the easiest place to find casein picks that thin is by clicking on the link in CharmedLifePicks' signature!

I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet, but they're made for us thin-pickers in mind.

I have not tried the charmed life ones yet, but I hope to. But honey will do something thinner if you ask.

Came today. Very nice feel, and very “grippy”. The yellow oneis their acrylic, and similar to a Gravity pick. The other is caesin, which is similar to...well...caesin. What else can I say?
