You are using an ABC switch into the Felix. What are you using ch 2 of the Felix for?

I highly recommend EBS Gold cables, especially where space is tight. They have the smallest profile and the flat cable can run under efx if neccesary. Sweetwater sells them and they are available in various lengths. I've had no luck with solderless cables. My PT2 electric board is all EBS. My Metro24 is mostly EBS. The looper board uses an EBS insert cable bewteen the foot switches and RC3. Really a great product.

The abc box has one in and 3 outs.
Ch a is guitar ch b is mandolin ch c is bass.
The guitar goes to ch 1 of the felix .,mandolin
goes to ch 2 of the felix the bass goes to a seperate
preamp ( not shown in pic). This way i can use
one cable or one wireless unit for 3 instruments.
this keeps me untangled on stage.

I have quite a few of those EBS already on the board they are great
for saving room I need a few more.
Id like to find good quality 90 degree xlr for the
DI outs on the felix. that would give me some more room.

All you need to do is to attach it using the paperclip option.

BTW - would someone please explain to me how using all these electronicals between your acoustic guitars and your amp/pa.a can be "acoustic" ???

It's all about work flow to me. I spend a lot of time gigging, so managing that has made my life so much easier. My boards are flight cases and it all sets up in 10 minutes. The open space in the back of the floor board (in my previous post) stores cables, ext cords, and my ipod holder.

The OCD in me is going to clean it up and make it look nicer soon, but functionally, it's been a dream.
Thanks ive been thinking on a way to do
that without getting a bigger board and
flight case. I step on the felix ,delay and
the flint the most. abc is a close second. Hardly ever use the looper.
and the comp and tuner are always on. I may try raising
the delay up some to get a better angle on it.
What do you use to shim up pedals in the back?
It all still has to fit in the flight case.

The same way an acoustic guitar played in front of a mic for live performance, audio recording, or shooting a YouTube video is “acoustic”. Guitar —>Electronic device(s) —>Speakers —>Ears.

Different tools for different scenarios.

I fought it too, but having the work flow feel best beats the added size, for me personally. YMMV.

Can you find a way to have them all in the front row? I'd have the looper in the front row as well.

Lay everything out and measure. Leave a few free inches on each side. Trust me. Things will need to be reconfigured as you start to gig it. You'll be glad that you did...

Most of them are on an angled pedal train board with cable management and power underneath. I don't need to step on anything in the back row. The Aphex is always on as a global EQ. The Tonedexter is on a wood block with a semi circle cut out to accommodate the mic stand insert. The Reverb is on a piece of high density foam because I didn't have my tools, but I did have a pocket knife. It worked, so it stayed.

I like to think of it as an amplified acoustic instrument. Playing in bars is not the ideal environment, but they pay quite a bit more than the un-amplified gigs in my area. Everyone has different needs when it comes to gigging, and it's a necessary evil for what I do.

I loaded the Tapatalk app and loaded the photos. It was a breeze. I'll be using this feature a lot in the future.

Excellent! Glad to hear it. Does make it easy, doesn't it?

My goal is always to make my acoustics sound like acoustics. I started amplifying my Guild F48 40 years ago with a Bill Lawrence soundhole pickup into my Twin Reverb amp. Not bad but sounded like an archtop with floating pickup.

I also tried the original Barcus Berry pickup and preamp. That was a disaster.

I started using Fishman Matrix pickups 20 years ago. I still use them in some of my guitars. I'm able to avoid the quack sound with good preamps/eq, and not over driving the pickup with heavy strumming.

I have K&K pmw pickups in 2 guitars. They sound great but also require good eq and more likely to feed back than the Fishman.

If you plan to play in front of a live audience you will need some form of amplification. Mics are the most accurate, but difficult to manage in most venues.

I gig with this regularly Just no need to expand.
this thing is bigger than desired to begin with.

Nope no room. I really dont use the looper much at all. mostly just for lead
practice..

It works as is but I would like easier access to delay and abc.
Been gigging with it for a few years.

Thanks for this. I may try the wood block.

Ah, the pedal board setups that have come and gone! How I miss them so... Not! I have two setups these days: Gigging with the wife for our acoustic duo act gets this - Boss VE-8.

Open mics with other people's PA equipment gets this - Headway EDM-1.

These days it's all about simplification! I don't even require or use external power. Everything runs on battery unless we bring the QSC for power.

Here's everything needed for our full gig including the QSC k8.2
