Default Behringer B-2 vs AT2035

Hmmm. Which would you choose?

I know I saw that. The B-2 looks really interesting too with the 3 different patterns.

Three things though:

B-2:
Signal to Noise Ratio: 77dB (A weighted)
Self Noise: 17dB (A weighted)
Low Cut Filter: 150Hz (-6dB/octave)

AT2035:
Signal to Noise Ratio: 82dB
Self Noise: 12dB
Low Cut Filter: 80Hz (-12dB/octave)

I'm leaning towards the AT2035

Multi pattern is nice feature.

Based on those specs...Seems the AT is slightly cleaner and quieter.

I wouldn't take specs too seriously at this price point. Personally, I also would avoid Behringer - I know they've made some improvements and have turned out some better gear lately, but it's hard to take them seriously. AT has an advantage, as I just mentioned in another thread. They know how to produce world-class multi-thousand dollar mics. Presumably they don't forget what they know when they have to produce a mic at a budget price point, and they have a reputation to defend, even on budget mics. I don't think you can say the same thing about Behringer. Behringer is the only example I've seen here on AGF where a person's recording problem turned out to be the mic...
