Default Guild serial number

I am looking at a Guild D25 NT with the serial number D252089. I think this could be a 1989 model. Anyone help me validate this prior to possible purchase. Thanks all.

Based on this chart on the Guild site, http://guildguitars.com/wp-content/u...your_guild.pdf, I think that’s a good guess, it’s before the last serial # and the 1988s had different letters at the start. For ultimate Guild info go to Letstalkguild

I agree with jgmaute, I think you have the correct year nailed. The LetsTalkGuild forum is the ultimate resource.
