***SOLD*** Taylor 522e 12 Fret + Taylor Hardshell Case
Selling my Taylor 522e 12-Fret in a stunning shaded edgeburst. The tropical mahogany with its balance, articulation, and mid-range punch makes it perfect for old-time music, fingerstyle blues and vocal accompaniment.
The guitar is in very good condition with the exception of a couple of nicks on the side and some guitar stand scuffs on the lower bout on the back side - no cracks or repairs - 100% structurally sound. It has been kept in it's case with D'addario Humidification Kit when not in use. Originally bought from this very forum. Sale Price: $2k shipped. - NOW $1800 shipped. Shipping from Vancouver Island, Canada. Trades: Interested in larger body - OM size. Let me know what you have via DM (as I don’t get notified about replies to this thread - DM works best) Photos: Taylor 522e 12 Fret From Taylor: Taylor's compact Grand Concert 12-fret guitars deliver a uniquely inspiring playing experience. The shorter 12-fret neck and 24-7/8-inch scale length create a slinky handfeel that makes fretting and bending strings easier, and the different bridge placement articulates the top in a way that produces a remarkably powerful voice for a small body. Noteworthy aesthetic touches include a shaded edgeburst body and neck, faux tortoise shell binding, a rosette of faux tortoise shell framed by grained ivoroid, and a grained ivoroid Century fretboard inlay. With Taylor's onboard ES2 pickup and preamp, all your expressive playing nuances will translate into your amplified sound. This Grand Concert guitar ships in a deluxe hardshell case. Hi - sorry, missed your message. It’s 2016 model bought from this forum a few years ago.

Great acoustic for sure !
I used to be a Taylor guy. I still own two in the 500 series. I once owned a 322 (Mahogany/Blackwood) and once tried a similar one in the 500 series. I am curious to know if you could be interested in a 510 made in 2006 : Englemann/Mahogany dreadnough with K&K combo added ? I am the first owner and it was my first solid wood. It never went out, had a neck reset and first fret crowned once. I am quite reluctant to ship any guitar during this cold season, though.

Thanks for the consideration. Looking at OM body shape - the D is a little too big for me.
