If I had a bass amp, I'd plug an acoustic into it and see if I like it. I'm sure nothing would explode. I have plugged an acoustic into an overdriven electric guitar amp, and that was interesting.

I tried this with a Peavey TKO 15. It worked ok, but a PA or an acoustic amp is a better choice.

I carried around a Peavey 110 to use as a stage monitor amp for a few years and it worked OK. I was switching mostly between Telecaster, acoustic guitar, and mandolin and my multi-effects was set to EQ and level match the different instruments.
When I was playing around with my bass rig and smaller bass amps I found that anything over 10" couldn't provide good tonality for those instruments, even as a personal monitor. Of course, the front of house mix was up to the sound guy.

Which one? I see they come in a variety of sizes and with different speakers.

I own a Carvin AG300. What Carvin did was repurpose a bass amp. The cab, and the speakers are identical to the bass amp. All they did was make an acoustic pre amp for it. Bass and keyboards both need full frequency drivers. My Carvin can handle bass in an acoustic combo, vocals sound better than anything under a grand, and acoustic instruments of all sorts work fine.

If the amp has a tweeter, it would be better.
