Default What are the Acoustic Forumers' occupation?

What do y'all do!

Edit: omg. I realized most of y'all are probably retired.

Mechanical engineer, specializing in noise/vibration/acoustics for 37 years now. Looking at retirement from that in the next 2-4 years. Also a fairly talented amateur guitar and ukulele player. (I have been paid to perform in the past, but it was always a very secondary thing compared to my day job).

I'm a photographer and writer.

I do a lot of collegiate shooting, so my calendar pretty much dried up back in March. Accordingly, I took a job with a local liquor store chain to help supplement my Navy pension.

It is what it is...

Full time Love God of the North and part time International Man of Mystery...

No, seriously, I’m retired now. In my twenties and thirties I was a full time professional musician, in my forties and fifties I continued as a part time pro musician while working with kids for the Anchorage School District, and now in my sixties I’m retired but have still held onto my weekly church gig.

Now four years into retirement and serving as an Associate Pastor. Before retirement, I was the manager of safety and health in an auto plant of three thousand employees.

I "was" retired in 2007 when the contracts dried up, aged 59.

My last few years were as a project manager for a Quango, formed to assist small and start up businesses.

Before that I was with IBM for twenty years.

Before that, a "hewer of wood and drawer of water"!

Former Sales and Marketing Manager for a manufacturer of plumbing and heating related products.
Currently fully employed at staying out of my wife’s way which I have found to be much more challenging and less rewarding.

Retired now for 13 years. Prior to that I worked in various administrative positions for a large printing company.
