Wow I'm surprised that no one has worked out this song. Love loudons writing. I wonder if I could pay someone to transcribe it ?
Thanks |

I could do it for you, but I'd charge you more than this book costs:
http://www.amazon.com/Loudon-Wainwri.../dp/0793584485 - but note 1-star review! I doubt it's as inaccurate as that person suggests, but I'm guessing the songs may not be in the original keys (quite common in piano books, esp for beginners). But it's not a lot of cash to part with anyway, and a bit of common sense should help you get it right. I can easily work out the chords for you, but full tab (if necessary, including any special tuning) will cost more. Let me know how much detail you need. ... EDIT: This was easy, no need for cash to change hands. He's in drop D tuning, with capo on 3. So the key is F major, but he's playing D shapes, as follows: INTRO |Gmaj7/B - - - |D - - - |Gmaj7/B - - - |D - - - | VERSE |A7sus4 - - - |D - - - |A7sus4 - - - |D - - - | |G - - - |D - - - |G - - - | A7sus4 |A7 | The intro repeats between each verse, and is the ending too. The A7sus4 and A7 at the end of each verse are held chords. It sounds like random timing (in the vocal anyway), but it seems to work out as 3 beats each chord. IOW, those bars should be 3/4, while the rest are all 4/4. Chord shapes: Gmaj7/B = x20032 D = 000232 A7sus4 = x02030 G = 5x0003 (or 550003) A7 = x02223
