Here's a "Youtube-famous person" who uses them for clinics and on tour.

I can't seem to direct link. Here is the URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXakwqnNxY8&t=227s

You can't have a time stamp. That was the problem.

I watched an Anderson’s video recently that suggested the same thing I’m suggesting here. I’d be interested in having more detail from you.

I’m in the process of deciding what I will buy for a first amp over the next while. I’m considering a Katana Artist, but generally I would not be able to play it very loud. I was more looking at it from the perspective of the effects it offers, the increased I/O, the supposed superior waza speaker etc...It’s at the top of the range for what I want to spend on an amp at this time, but they seem quite well received. I’d just like to know more about lower volume listening with them.

Cheers
I wrote "usable" but i think that wasn't what you were talking about. It is also usable in 50/100 watt mode at home but its going to rattle the windows as the power settings really make a huge difference. In .5 mode you have much more forgiving range to adjust the volume from very soft up past reasonable. In the higher wattage settings it goes from quiet to very loud quite quickly. Hope that helps.

Not to be a buzzkill but I was talked in to buying one at Sam Ash by the manager. It wasn't me. Too many knobs and no interest in learning. Maybe you will like it.

On the 50 vs 100 comment, I had heard there are a few other differences like speaker / cabinet quality lack of line out etc

The artist and 100 on the mkii also have a few bonus features for doing straight frfr amp / cabinet and stereo linking

Of course may not be needed for home use.

One thing that also didn't come up was mkii vs original. I had the original and sold it to pick up the mkii. There are a number of nice add ons on the ii that I definitely think are worth it.

I've had the 50W head, and the combo. For me, it took too long to find a good sound with all the knob turning. I sold both of them quite easily. You do get a lot of amp for the $, and once you find a sound you like, they're good.
