Taylor Custom DN, Adirondack/Brazilian RW ($OLD)
This listing features my 2007 Taylor Custom Dread. This beautiful guitar features a stunning Adirondack Spruce top with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. You all know what sound this wood combination yields. In a word, the sound is articulate, and is the epitome of "piano-like tones." So crisp and clear, and just the right age to have seasoned perfectly. It's a bluegrass dream, IMO.
This was one of three custom DNs commissioned by Dave's Guitar Shop (in Wisconsin) in 2007 to commemorate Dave's 25th anniversary. A few distinct features: it is a "short scale" (24-7/8") and has a 1-11/16" nut width. It also does not have the stock Taylor ES electronics, but instead includes a LR Baggs pickup with end pin plug. Much cleaner and very simple to upgrade/swap out. It pains me to list this, and the ONLY reason i'm selling is because the Dread body causes me tendinitis. If anyone is out there with the same wood combination in a Grand Auditorium body size, I'll trade ya!! $OLD, this is a STEAL for this axe. Apologies for the mediocre (at best) pics, my iPhone is my only photographic option. I remember these Dave's Guitar Shop customs like it was yesterday! Very rare for Taylor to combine an Adirondack Top with a Brazilian Back. I saw a few of these in person at the Dallas Guitar show back then, and every one of the tops were outstanding!
Good luck with the sale!

Yeah man, no doubt. I've played a number of different Adi tops, and this is the best one i've played, for sure. Just wonderful.
