Youve definitely got the beginning of a nice picking and vocal melody there Solo.

Now you just need to smooth out the picking pattern so its fully solid along with the vocal melody, but as you said its just a first attempt, so now you can fine tune it and also work on a chorus to give the song some variety.

Keep it up, I think youre definitely onto something there !

Cool song Mike. +1 on smoothin' it out and adding a chorus. This song has a catchy & cool vibe/theme, I'd like to see it develop to its full version.

Brother Solo.....really like the "storyteller" lyrics your coming up with for this tune. Nice to see you still working on the fingerpicking..... smooth out the wrinkles and finish this bad boy. It's been a while since we've enjoyed an original Solo tune and I look forward to the completed version.

I like it man, it has an outlaw feel already, with the Mr. badge man reference.
Post it when you finish please dude, looking forward to it....maybe you should transition to a strum as the lyrics pick up, then drop back to picking, to give some dynamics (just my suggestion...I tend to overdo all that stuff though).

Good song in the making dude!

Hey Michael, I echo many of the previous comments. I really do like the overall feel of the song and believe it will benefit from a chorus and or bridge section. Your playing and singing with a lot more confidence these days and that's a great thing to see and testament to your hard work. I too am looking forward to hearing your completed song.

I want to say thank you All for the feeback.

It was cool, to be working on another song and it transforms into a completely seperate one. Im sure, as i practice it, the song will smooth out.
In my mind, this song has two guitars playing. I always form a song in my head with more than one guitar. one is strumming and the other is picking... Its funny...Thanks again for the feedback. I will apply it for sure

Thanks for the feed back everyone..Rob, Miller, Rick, Eric, Steve and TP.

Good stuff...Solo

This is a really cool song you've got going, Solo. When I heard that picked Am and then the first line I thought, man, this is going to be good.

Like you said, the song still needs work and as others have mentioned, you need to smooth out those chord transitions, but I'm tellin' ya. This one is a hit in my mind.
