Default McAlister 000-28, 12 fret, cutaway, BRW/Adi, String spacing 2 5/16", PRICE SLASHED!

McAlister Vintage Series 000-28 12 Fret Cutaway - Brazilian RW/Adirondack - Near Mint

STRING SPACING CORRECTED JUNE 26, 2019....IT IS 2 5/16", NOT 2 1/4".

Hear of Crosby, Stills & Nash or Jackson Browne?
David Crosby, Graham Nash and Jackson Browne play and love their Roy McAlister custom guitars. So can you.

For Sale:
-Roy McAlister Vintage Series 000-28 12 Fret - SLOTTED HEADSTOK
-Built in 2008
-Brazilian rosewood back & sides
-Adirondack Spruce top
-Near mint condition
-Ameritage-Silver hardshell case (Original case.....near mint condition)

Condition: Carefully maintained and handled, always cased and humidified. Near mint condition. Best described as 9.8+/10 condition with only issue being some very light scratches where pick guard would be. Hard to see unless you tilt the guitar to see in light. Case is in 9.8/10 condition

This instrument is made from superb old growth Brazilian rosewood with a gorgeous, aged Vintage Series Adirondack top, slotted headstock, pyramid bridge and was built by one of the top custom builders. With the 1 13/16" nut width, cutaway with 12 frets to the neck, this guitar is really fun to play. It is set up perfectly with low action and great feel. The neck is a modern C shape. Put all this with the slightly more shallow depth of a 000 and you have a homerun!

The McAlister tone is vintage sounding with a notable and likable chime to it. This is really a cool guitar. I've owned it twice, but am trying to whittle down from 27 to under 20. At 24 and whittling for your pleasure!

-replacement cost for this guitar, with the amazing Brazilian and other
cool features would probably put this guitar in the $15k range.)
-not looking for trades unless I can trade 2 or 3 of mine for an Olson I
might want. (For sale, I have this McAlister, Bashkin OM, Claxton EM,
Froggy P-12 brw/adi custom (a very, very special guitar, best parlor
ever).

PRICE WAS: $9,999...............NEW REDUCED PRICE: $8,999

Smile McAlister

I own the German/Mahogany sibling to this guitar. Roy called mine a Concert 12-c at the time in 2005, but the body shape and dimensions are 000 but with a cutaway added. Mine is just shy of a 1 13/16 nut, with full scale, not the usual 000 short scale. The dimensions are exactly as stated here.

Mine is on my never-sell list. In fact, I havent bought or sold a guitar in over a year, because all but maybe one guitar is on that list! I can play anything from blues to classical on my McAlister and the voicing seems to work with me. The neck, short reach due to the 12-fret and the cutaway all make this the most comfortable guitar Ive ever played, even tough the body is larger than OM sized. I can sit playing 1-2 hours and it feels like nothing in my lap, just pleasure. Mine is also feather light at under 3 1/2 lbs. This one is likely a few oz more, for the BRW, though very few luthiers can build as light and responsive guitar as Roy McAlister!

Im glad to have the Mahog one, since BRW has rarely been in my budget. I can imagine how great this one sounds though, adding BRW back n sides. GLWTS

Default Wonderful guitar....I've got a lot of them...make me an offer.

This is a very cool 000-28 cutaway with pyramid bridge, 12 fret to neck, vintage top, with a very comfortable 1 13/16" width at nut.

Try it and you'll not let it get away. I've bought this one TWICE because it is so good.

Default PRICE SLASHED & corrected string spacing measurement! 2 5/16" not 2 1/4"

PRICE SLASHED & corrected string spacing measurement! 2 5/16" not 2 1/4". I was notified that my listing still had string spacing listed as 2.25". I knew that to be wrong so remeasured last night. It is 2 5/16" and closer to 2 11/32".

This is a killer deal on a killer guitar!
