A nice surprise when I got to my buddy and music partner’s place today: he sold the last two items I brought to Arizona, where there would be a bigger market. Five items for sale (2 guitars, an amp, and two 12-channel mixers). All were in mint condition, with very little use.
One of his friends asked me, “So, what are you getting to replace the stuff you sold?” I was looking for space, not trying to swap for something else. Even my wife asked if I had any “music gear plans.” Really, no. I seem to collect, but never disperse, even if I am no longer using the item(s). I am trying to be more efficient with the space I have in my music room. Well, when we get back home. Right now, I’m happy to not have to cart anything back to Texas.
